Comments: The compatibility of calcium and phosphate was reported for a pediatric TPN admixture stored for 48 hours at 40 C. Visual inspection and electronic particle counting were performed. Cysteine HCl lowers the pH and increases the amount of calcium and phosphate that can be added.
