Comments: The compatibility of calcium and phosphate was determined in two neonatal TPN admixtures for 30 hours at room temperature of 25 C. Visual inspection and microscopic examination were performed. No compatibility difference was reported between the two dextrose concentrations. However, this finding is not consistent with most other research. See Appendix IV.
